Welcome to the website of Ωmega™ Seafood, proudly made by P.H.R Processing Ltd. Our export licensed factory is situated outside of Blenheim, Marlborough at the top of New Zealand's beautiful South Island. This is where we created the Ωmega™ Seafood range and set new standards in Greenshell™ mussel preparation in New Zealand and abroad.

International recognition came in 2005 when our company won two global awards for the Ωmega™ Seafood Cooked Gourmet Mussels at the European Seafood Exposition’s Prix d’Elite competition. They won both the Convenience prize and the overall Foodservice category.

Taking mussels grown in the pristine waters of New Zealand we inspect, wash and partially de-beard them before the mussels are placed in a plastic pouch. The pouch is then vacuum packed before being cooked under pressure at high temperature in a steam retort (industrial pressure cooker). Natural flavours are captured and retained through this process while food safety and product shelf life are enhanced.
