cooked gourmet Greenshell™ mussels.
Owners, Chris & Trish Redwood have a background
in the mussel farming industry spanning over 20
years.
P.H.R Processing Ltd aims to
produce premium cooked mussels which can be eaten
straight out of the packet or used anywhere live
would normally be used.

Marlborough is the name given
to the province at the north eastern tip of
New Zealand’s
South Island. The area is famed for its sunshine,
majestic landscapes and gourmet produce including
seafood, fruit and wine.
Maori folklore depicts
the Marlborough Sounds as the splintered prow
of an elaborately decorated canoe in which
the gods traveled from heaven. The Sounds are
unique in New Zealand as the only land area
sinking into the sea and therefore provide
a very sheltered marine environment.This ecosystem
is home to a rich diversity of marine life. Over
200 species of fish and three sea mammals are
represented. Commercial use includes mussel and
oyster farming as well as forestry.
In addition the Sounds are
an extremely popular recreational playground
offering swimming, sailing, fishing, secluded
resorts and holiday homes near the water's edge.
